April Boma Dining

Step into the heart of Maasai tradition with our experiential outdoor dining experience at Enkanasa, nestled within the breathtaking landscape of our Lodge. Available any day of the week for groups, this unique dining experience takes place in a traditional Maasai Manyatta, also known as a Boma. Under the open skies, guests are immersed in the rich culture of the Maasai people as they dine amid the ambiance of lantern-lit surroundings.

The Boma setup features two Manyattas to enhance the cultural experience, adorned with Maasai-themed décor including beaded table mats and spears. Food is served from authentic Kenyan pots, offering a fusion of mouth-watering local cuisine and international barbecue dinner served beside a comforting wood bonfire.

Named after the Maasai word for village or communal gathering place, Enkanasa embodies the spirit of togetherness and celebration. Here, guests enjoy not only delicious meals but also entertainment with traditional Maasai dance performances during the dinner. Do not miss the opportunity to start your day with a Boma breakfast and continue the journey into the Maasai culture!

At the heart of our sustainability efforts is our sustainability arm - The Land and Life Foundation. This arm actively calculate our carbon footprint as part of the commitment to addressing climate change and striving for net-zero emissions.

A carbon footprint encompasses the total greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere from various activities, whether individual, group, place, product or organization, all contributing to global warming and climate change.

With steadfast support from Land & Life Foundation, we track and evaluate energy consumption and transportation emissions across all our properties and associated business units. This process not only provides valuable insights but also steers us towards the implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies and greener practices aimed at minimizing our carbon footprint.

Furthermore, through the initiatives of the Land & Life Foundation, climate change awareness training is provided for all our staff across our properties. These efforts inspire positive behaviour change, fostering a collective effort to reduce carbon footprint at both individual and organizational levels.
